Shipping - Australia
We aim to process and dispatch your order within 1-2 business days from the time of your order. Once shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking information.
We use Standard Australia Post for deliveries Australia wide. Parcels do not require a signature and will be left in a safe place if you are not home. If you do not want your parcel left in a safe place, please contact us to arrange for a ‘Signature On Delivery’ for an additional $2.95.
Fabrics are shipped out sensibly folded. We aim to use (and reuse) packaging that is mostly kind to our planet. Roll shipping can be organised for an additional shipping fee. Please try and reuse any ‘eco’ bubble wrap we send you.
Standard Tyvek groundsheets when purchased alone are shipped free of charge Australia wide with tracking. When other items are added to the cart with any standard Tyvek groundsheet product then the weight based shipping fee will apply to the whole order.
If you would like to upgrade to Express Shipping, please contact us prior to ordering or you can type a note on your order and we’ll get back to you with a quote. Additional Express rates vary by weight and location.
Effective from July 2023, Australia Post have significantly increased their shipping prices. In order to keep providing great products at reasonable prices, we’ve had to pass on some of this price increase.
Australian standard shipping rates are charged according to weight and include GST:
Under 500g: $9.90
501g to 1.5kg: $13.20
1.51kg to 3kg: $15.00
3.01kg to 5kg: $19.00
over 5kg: $25.00
Over 5kg: contact us and we will advise additional shipping fee at the best rate for your location.
Special requests, bulky or roll shipping rates are calculated as required. Roll shipping can be surprisingly affordable!
If you’re after a big order then please contact us and we can work out the most cost effective way to get your items to you.
If you would like parcel insurance please contact us at soon as you submit your order. Insurance costs $2.50 per $100 for domestic parcels.
Our postal route feeds directly into Australia’s largest mail facility, so most parcels are arriving on time. COVID disruptions and extreme weather may delay your delivery. Please check www.auspost.com.au for updates.
If you have ordered in the previous 30 days and just need a few more small things to complete your project, please drop us a line and we’ll help you out with the postage costs.

Returns
We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase and go on to build some great gear. Feel free to message us on IG @monkeypuzzlefabrics or here if you need any advice before you make an order.
Makers understand that fabrics are created on high speed mills (so slight variations can occur), shipped on rolls (ends get bashed about, wrong sides are exposed to dust etc). Sometimes the selvage binds a little tighter on the roll and the fabric can appear uneven. As you know, colours can look a bit different on your monitor or phone.
We certainly didn’t go to all this effort just to stooge you, and your purchase is covered by Australian Consumer Law! If a product is faulty, then please contact us as soon as you receive it.
We do not exchange or refund for a change of mind or if you scored it on sale. We hope you agree that’s fair enough.

2. Do you actually have the stock?
We work hard to make sure that our inventory numbers are correct. If an item is listed as out of stock, please contact us and we can let you know when we have it in our hot little hands.
3. PayPal isn’t available at Checkout. Can I use PayPal to pay for my order?
100% – If you would like to use PayPal to pay for your order, please contact us and we can send you a PayPal invoice. We will process your order once payment is confirmed.
4. Can you help me with advice before I make an order?

5. If I order more than a metre of fabric, will it be in one continuous length?
We always try to send our fabric in one continuous length if you order multiple lengths. On the rare occasion this is an issue, we will always give you a call before shipping.
6. Will I get a shipment tracking number for my order?
Yes – your orders will have a tracking number sent via email once shipped.
